Deacon Alex Jones was an "on-fire" Pentecostal starting as a teenager and then a minister in inner-city Detroit through the tumultuous '60s and into the '90s when he began to long for more spiritual sustenance which led him to investigate the teachings of the ancient church fathers.
Alex and wife Donna entered the Catholic Church in 2001, along with 54 members of his former congregation. Since his ordination to the Permanent Diaconate, Deacon Jones has traveled and preached widely in many settings at home and abroad. A powerful and popular speaker who uses his gifts to expound the scriptures and bring enthusiasm to his listeners, Deacon Jones is sure to challenge you to grow in your own faith and to follow where Christ leads you.

true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth;
and indeed the Father seeks such people to worship him.
God is Spirit, and those who worship him must
worship in Spirit and truth."    John 4:5-42
