Talks to be Presented by Michael Voris, S.T.B.
12 Catholic Myths: Archbishop Fulton Sheen used to say, "Only about a hundred people actually hate the Catholic Church, but millions of people hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church." In this talk, we examine a number of specific misconceptions about the Catholic Church and her teachings, with an aim to better understanding how Catholic teaching is marvelously interconnected.
Catholics & Protestants: How much unity is truly possible when it comes to different faiths that cant reach agreement on such important topics like Scripture, the nature of Church, grace, justification, original sin and the sacraments - and those are the topics of disagreement just between Protestants. When you factor in Catholic theology, it can get pretty confusing - but it doesn't have to be at all.
How to Avoid Heresy by Living in Love: At its heart, heresy is a refusal to accept the love of Christ and to turn inward to self-love. Turning in on oneself and away from Christ has devastating consequences in this life and most especially in the next.
Teen Talk - Catholicism: More than Sunday Mass: What does it mean to say, "I'm Catholic."? It isn't just a cultural identifier. It's goes to the very core of who I am, not an action or set of beliefs, but the whole person of me.
